Hangsterfer's 5080 is an advanced, plant-based microemulsion that has been approved by leading aerospace and medical companies.

Free of boron, chlorine, formaldehyde and other harmful substances, it is environmentally friendly and sustainable, and contains no additives that could become obsolete over time. 5080 is made with Bio-Hard technology, so it does not support bacterial and fungal growth, so there is no need for biocides, but it is biodegradable.

Thanks to its low hydrocarbon content, 5080 reduces drag-out and significantly reduces coolant consumption. The low oil content minimises the risk of slippery work surfaces, reduces airborne oil mist and increases the recycling value of metal shavings.

Natural transparency provides excellent workpiece visibility, results in foam-free operation and keeps machine windows clean. Excellent for use in high-pressure cooling systems, it allows filtration up to 5 microns without loss of additives.

Superior performance in machining aluminium, nickel and titanium alloys
The 5080 significantly increases tool life and improves surface quality, especially on aluminium, nickel and titanium alloys. Thanks to its surfactant components, efficient heat dissipation and chip evacuation, the metal plastic flows deformably without sticking to the tool. This allows higher cutting speeds, feed rates and depths, which increases productivity.

5080 is non-hazardous, non-toxic and contains no harmful chemicals. It is low odour, skin-friendly, will not damage painted surfaces and is compatible with machine elastomers.
